 Director Abbas - Mustan known for their action thrillers like Khiladi, Baaziger, and Naqaab.This time they come up with another thriller film “Race”.
The race is between two step brothers Ranvir Singh (Saif Ali Khan) and Rajeev Singh (Akshay Kanna) among them, one plays to win, while the other plays to defeat. Ranvir and Rajeev are the biggest players in horse racing. Sophia (Katrina Kaif) is Ranvir’s personal secretary and she loves her boss.Shaina (Bipasha Basu) is a Model and Ranvir loves shaina. Unexpectedly shaina gets married with Rajiv.She comes to know that Rajiv is alcoholic, he doesn’t connect well with his wife. Rajiv suspects shaina.
A murder is committed. R.D(Anil Kapoor) is a detective who finds the mystery behind this murder and he finds the culprit with the help of his assistant Mini(Sameera Reddy). Each reel holds a suspense which grips the audience throughout. Abbas Mastan have given good treatment to the film. Saif’s performance is well appreciated and Akshay is as usual good. Anil Kapoor provides needed humor in the movie. Bipasha’s performance is good and Katrina is looking gorgeous. Sameera is ok.
On the whole, Race is a well made movie with adventures and it delivers what it promises. Good Music, good performance and lots of action. Race is worth watching movie.
