S.S. Rajamouli had agreed to direct a film with Sunil as hero but there when the director would begin was not fixed.

Throwing some light on the issue, the director said, “Presently I am working Ram Charan's film. As we are totally concentrating on that project, I have no option but to postpone the film with Sunil. The project cannot be treated as shelved. It has just been postponed for some more time, that's all. Most possibly we will begin in April 2009.”

Ram Charan Teja, Chiranjeevi's son, is busy with his second movie; Chirutha, the first, was a runaway hit that showcased Ram Charan's dancing skills. Ram Charan Teja's second film is most likely to hit screens in the summer of 2009.
