The new releases

A quick look at the big Bollywood movies

 Kyon Ho Gaya Na
A sensitive-idealistic girl, Diya Malhotra (Aishwarya Rai) is the only child of Malhotra (Tinu Anand) who has single-handedly brought up Diya after his wife's death. Raj Chauhan (Amitabh Bachchan) is a close friend of Malhotra and happens to be a bachelor. He runs an orphanage for which he has dedicated his entire life.

 Julie
Mihir Shandilya (Priyanshu Chatterjee), the young tycoon talks about his success story and on being questioned about his prospective life partner, he confesses that there is a woman in his life. Julie (Neha Dhupia) is that mystery woman. However, she is unnerved by the program and wants to reveal the secret to the world. She wants to confess that she is a prostitute by profession, a fact that Mihir and his family members are unaware of.

The generous display of skin show by Neha Dhupia is the only plus or minus, either way you look at it, of the film. The script is absent sans which the outcome is ordinary. Himesh Reshammiya's music is a mix of melodious and raunchy numbers. Neha Dhupia gets tremendous scope to display histrionics and anatomy. While she exposes her anatomy without inhibitions, her performance is nothing to write about.

Mujhse Shaadi Karogi
Samir (Salman Khan) desperately loves lovely Rani (Priyanka Chopra). He has a hidden rival in his friend because little does he know that his happiness will soon be sabotaged.

Sunny (Akshay Kumar), with whom Samir shares his room also has fallen for Rani's charms. The two Romeos try desperate measures to win their lady love. As luck would have it, whatever right Samir tries to attempt goes spectacularly wrong, while Sunny emerges trumps!

Adding to the mayhem are Rani's disciplinarian army officer father (Amrish Puri) and Samir's astrologer friend (Rajpal Yadav). Mujhse Shaadi Karogi falls in the same genre as David Dhawan's 'Deewana Mastana' which also had this game of one-upmanship.

Rakht
Produced by Suniel Shetty's production company 'Popcorn Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd' in association with Vijay Mallya (brewery industry tycoon), RAKHT is Manjrekar's biggest directorial venture so far in his entire filmmaking career. The big budget flick is laced with a mega star cast, which utterly adds value to the film's promotion. Ranging from Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Dino Morea and sexy goddesses Bipasha Basu, Neha Dhupia, Payal Rohatgi to Amrita Arora - the movie also features a hot item number starring the sexiest "Babuji doll" Yana Gupta in a foot-tapping song picturised on chocolate looking Abhishek Bachchan.

Rakht is a rehash of the Hollywood film, 'The Gift' and is a full entertainment in terms of ample thrill, mystery and full action together with a handsome amount of heat provided by the steamy beauties.
