After her shooting as the NRI wife in Deepa Mehra’s ‘Heaven on Earth’ Preity Zinta is off to phuket (Thailand) for NEW YEAR. At this time last year she has injured herself during the vacation.
Preity groaned that the year has been a tough one for her as she has suffered a serious injury and also it’s been a challenge as actor.
In this year I went into different kind of role as battered wife in Heaven on Earth. The movie is quite a creative and cultural shock for me…. She told that the role is about marginalized women and about people who leave India with a hope to find paradise abroad.
Deepa Mehta has proved himself again with this movie as the theme is quite different.She will return from the vacation in the second week of January… She hopes 2008 will probably be a year of good hit films for her… |
