A film on Benazir Bhutto by film maker Mahesh Bhatt |

The renowned indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is about to announce a feature film based on life of late Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto. He is collaborating with a Karachi-based private production. According to Skies unlimited films the distinguished Pakistani writer and poet Aqeel Ahmad Ruby will write the script for the film. The producer of the production company Aneela Khan reported Daily Times that the film is to be completed in partnership with Bhatt.
On Dec27 during a suicide attack on a party rally in Rawalpindi’s Liaquat Bagh area Bhutto was assassinated. Reports say that Bhutto died while taking to a hospital and at least 20 Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) activists were also killed during the attack. She was buried in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh at here ancestral home.
