Mithun Chakraborty is adding a new film to his list after his fabulous performance in Guru as a fearless Bengali newspaper editor. Now in this movie he is playing a role of ageing gangster who wants to go straight that Sylvester Stallone did in John Landis 1991 comic crime drama Oscar. Veteran Shakti Samanta’s son Ashim Samanta has directed the movie. Aar Paar and also Khwab were the two Bengali films in which Samanta Sr and Mithun-da have teamed up before.
The most important thing that makes the movie interesting is the casting of TV star Rohit Roy in the role of gangster’s conniving accountant. Rohit Roy said that it is a comic role and this is as close as I get to an Oscar. He is very excited to do this comic role and other things that interested him in this banner.
Rohit Roy is a big fan of Rajesh Khanna and we can see khanna’s mannerisms in his performance. Another interesting thing that he said is that his mother was big fans Rajesh Khanna and she must have watch his movies repeatedly when carrying him. Hence due to this combination the movie can be great then expected…
