 Semi Pro is a comedy movie primarily aimed at teenage audience. The main role in the movie is Jackie Moon (Will Ferrell) who is a coach, player and owner of the basketball team ‘Flint Tropics’. His only aim is to guide his team to glory inorder to stay in the league. The climax of the movie is predictable and there are some humorous moments where Jackie Moon performs stunts such as fighting with a bear, which attracts audience. Some of the stunts are tedious to perform, even though they seemed to be hilarious. The direction is OK but the script did not work well.
The story really has nothing to say but as people love Will Ferrell who himself is a funny person the movie may go well. The movie lacks inspiration and it does not have any strong characters. Ultimately the movie is certainly not good as Will Ferrell’s other films.
