During this time he worked as a barkeeper, musician and jeans-model. His very first success would be Sam Shepard's "Fool For Love" on the New York Broadway but really popular he became with his famous role as David Edison in the series "Moonlightning" 1985 - 1989, awarded by the "Emmy" and the "Grammy" both in 1987.His first movie was "Blind Date" (1987), but in this year his perhaps most important movie had been filmed as well, the movie which had made him world - famous but caused that he sometimes is still recognized as the action figure John McClane.
Indeed, he made some action movies, "Last Boy Scout" and "Last Man Standing" to name just two, and people often forget that he proved his capabilities as a very great actor in films like "12 Monkeys", "In Country" or even "Pulp Fiction".
Bruce Willis separated from his wife Demi Moore with whom he has 3 daughters, Rumer Glenn, Scout LaRue, and Tallulah Belle not long ago and is now rumoured to date the kids' previous nanny.
