For detailed information about where you are travelling, Lonely Planet's website and tripprep.com are excellent resources. They provide country specific information, immunization information, as well as links to other relevant sites, including official visitor information sites.

   Do you have a current passport? The State Department has downloadable    passport applications for lost or new passports, renewals and name changes.    There is also information available for obtaining a rush passport if you are in a    hurry!

   For visa requirements and consular information visit the U.S State Department.    For general information or travel warnings, this is the place to go as well.

  Have you thought about immunizations? To find out what you need for your   destination, visit the Center for Disease Control's Traveler's Health page or U of   MN students can go to Boynton Health Service's international travel clinic
